Technical Art
1 winner

This category consists of anything tech-art related in game dev. This can be a
custom material, in-engine shader, procedural art created in Houdini or similar
program, real-time VFX, a custom rig, or art tool such as Python or MEL script. If you
bridge a gap between technical expertise and art creation submit your work here.
For the category, models used for procedural art, rigging, or the showcase of tools
do not have to be created by the participant. Prize payouts may not be immediate will require validation through WPI IMGD.

In-Game Art Implementation
1 winner

This category serves to evaluate how artwork is implemented within a game; polished demo scenes, in-engine art tests, and completed games are all acceptable submissions to this category.
Due to the team nature of game development, we allow up to three artists to submit under a single Game Implementation work. We ask that all criteria still apply to the student artist submitting the piece.
